Acceptance and hand-over ceremony of Van Phong petroleum bonded storage


Van Phong petroleum bonded storage is built on a total area of 56ha ground face and 42ha surface, total investment estimate of over $122 million, including items such as  import-export wharf (150.000 DWT), public affair wharf (1.000 DWT), the total volume of tanks is 1 million m3 and many other items.


Up to now, three packages of stage 1 including tanks, wharf, pipeline system and product pump, rainwater and waste water drainage system, waste oil collection system, electricity and water supply system, fire fighting and prevention system and other auxiliary works are essentially completed.


On June 11th, 2012, the Investor of the project organized "handover ceremony of the works". The ceremony was attended by Mr. Dao Minh Chau - General Director, Mr. Tran Vu Giang - Deputy Director (Investor of Vanphong Terminal), Mr. Ton That Ba - Deputy General Director, Mr. Nguyen Phuoc Cam Huy - Construction Director of Ho Chi Minh City branch, Mr. Yeo See Hong - Project Director (Project management consultancy unit - Apave Asia - Pacific), Project Consulting Group (Vietnam National Petroleum Corp. ), the Management Board of Van Phong economic zone, DesignContractor and other contractors.


Speaking at the ceremony, the Investors have expressed satisfaction and highly appreciated Apave Asia – Pacific company. With qualified, experienced and professional workforce, Apave has successfully completed the assigned tasks and once again confirmed its prestige.


Petroleum bonded storage in Van Phong is considered as bright spots of Van Phong economic zone - Khanh Hoa province. When it goes into operation, this economic zone will promote potential in marine industry, commercial and tourism services in the country, as well as will be attractive investment market to investors all over the world.
